On 18 September, Crafting Plast!cs studio took part in the Biofab Fair at Big Penny Social, London — a new platform inspired by the format of a World’s Fair that brings together pioneers working at the intersection of biology, design, and technology.
Alongside showcasing our NUATAN® bioplastic material series, Vlasta Kubušová joined the panel discussion about Bioinnovation as creative opportunities, chaired by designer and researcher Amy Congdon. The conversation highlighted how design can play a key role in advancing bio-based innovation and creating new opportunities across industries.
The Biofab Fair offered a unique space for dialogue between scientists, designers, and entrepreneurs — making visible how biology-driven materials are already reshaping fashion, interiors, packaging, and beyond.
