Nuatan®

Nuatan® is a new generation of bioplastic material made from 100% renewable raw resources. It is both biobased and biodegradable, leaving no microplastics behind and contributing nothing to global warming.

This unique material with enhanced properties was developed by our studio for companies, brands and designers with a vision to create value-added products with a positive impact on the environment. Nuatan® aims to accelerate the transition to a circular economy by optimizing the lifecycle of Nuatan-made products from the point of manufacturing to decomposing.  

Some of the projects made with Nuatan® are Collection 6, Collection 8, and Collection 2.

UV Interactive Biomaterials

These materials react instantly to varying ultra-violet light intensities, changing color in real time to create visually dynamic effects for both aesthetic and functional applications. Designed to withstand UV exposure, they maintain structural integrity while delivering adaptive performance.

In Crafting Plastics studio, we conduct extensive research on responsive biomaterials and their applications in sustainable lifestyle products. Crafted from renewable resources, UV-interactive biomaterials support sustainability goals, aligning with eco-conscious design practices. The ability to tailor UV sensitivity allows designers to create unique, customizable visual effects in various colors and patterns.

Suitable for diverse industries, including fashion, architecture, automotive, and product design, these materials enhance functionality and style, making them perfect for environmental monitoring and responsive design.

Leather-like Biomaterials

Crafted from renewable materials like wood pulp, celulose, bamboo fibers and wool-based composites, these eco-friendly biomaterials replace synthetic leather, decompose naturally, reduce waste, and minimize environmental impact while mimicking leather's strength.
