Bubble Tray

The hand-shaped pearly tray might remind you of the Ostblock’s glass lamps and stained glass door from the 70’s, but this one is made purely from biopolymers.

In our work we like to explore the unexpected and unusual aesthetic of new materials. For this product we decided to influence the tactile experience and surface structure by controlling the length of the biopolymer’s crystallization process.

100% biobased and biodegradable, compostable in industrial compost.

Each shape is unique, with a width varying 20-30cm.
