Have you ever drunk coffee or tea from a biodegradable plastic cup? Our 3D printed Nuatan cup is the first released product from the Circular Gasto System series!
 
The cups are made from 100% bio-based and biodegradable material, are dishwasher safe and will last for hundreds of uses. They are great for kids, picnics and everyday To Go coffee drinking.
 
Our Gastro Circular System is a series of food utensils for closed-loop events, cafes and restaurants made from 100% biobased and biodegradable biopolymer blends. The foodware set offers a circular durable alternative to fossil fuel based plastic cups and bowls for a variety of events. The project brings together materials science and circular design to put biomaterials into practice in collaboration with various stakeholders to close the loop.
 
The material is based on a unique biopolymer blend composition. It is durable, can withstand temperatures above 100°C and can be used and recycled multiple times before being converted into natural CO2, biomass and water under industrial compost conditions.
